Who we are
Africa Mining IQ (AMIQ) is an independent online mining-project intelligence service operated by Projects IQ (Pty) Ltd, a South African company (registration 2003/022526/07). We are based at 19 Letaba Rd, Eastcliff, Johannesburg South, 2190, South Africa.
Our work is straightforward: keep one trusted, continually maintained view of mining activity across the continent, so the businesses that serve the sector can find the right projects and reach the right people.
What we track
AMIQ follows new and existing mining projects right across Africa. The platform holds more than 2,200 projects and mines and over 740 mine owners, with verified contacts for the owners, engineers and consultants behind each project.
A dedicated team of researchers keeps that project information accurate and up to date, so what you see reflects where each project actually stands and who is responsible for it.
Who uses AMIQ
Suppliers, EPCs, engineering firms and investors use AMIQ to find and reach the projects and decision-makers across African mining. Rather than piecing the picture together from scattered sources, they start from one place that already maps the projects, the owners behind them and the people to speak to.
