All of what a vendor wants to know before a copper or cobalt package is tendered, mapped against each company on this page and refreshed as work in the country progresses.
An operator's complete project list for the DRC, each entry marked with its lifecycle point, study, construction, or running mine, letting you act before the design is locked in.
The holding structure above each asset and the operator on site, taking you to whoever clears new vendors rather than a reception desk.
The engineering and EPC houses already mandated on a mine, those who draft the specification and parcel out work to the supply chain.
Fresh, validated records for the procurement leads and budget-holders steering each project's spend, which open to you as soon as you join.
We are grateful for the outstanding support your AMIQ Platform has provided. It has been an exceptional launching pad for NewElec to connect with the right mining projects and grow our presence in Africa. Your business is truly unique!
The supplier case
The Democratic Republic of Congo sits at the heart of the Central African Copperbelt, the rich copper and cobalt belt that runs through the Katanga and Lualaba provinces in the south-east of the country. It is the world's leading source of cobalt and a major copper producer, which puts a dense band of mining work within a single province.
Behind that work stands a blend of global majors, large Chinese groups, and the state miner Gecamines, which carries stakes across many of the assets. On one platform AMIQ holds each operator's Congolese projects, the phase every one is in, the ownership above it, and the engineers and contractors already on brief. Underneath that lie gated, verified records for whoever authorises spend, so you can approach a company and its advisers ahead of a closed specification.
Work from the directory above: settle on a company, trace copper across Africa, or take in the whole country. For broader context, read mining in the DRC and the rest of Central Africa.
A single login covers every Congolese copper and cobalt group: live project lists, the ownership and operating team behind each, and verified contacts for the buyers who control the budget.
Questions from the field
The list takes in copper and cobalt groups such as Eurasian Resources Group, Chengtun Gold, MMG Limited, Chemaf Resources and Metorex, plus the state miner Gecamines. Open any of them and you drop into the Congolese projects that company is running.
The work clusters in the south-east, where the Central African Copperbelt crosses the Katanga and Lualaba provinces. Copper and cobalt dominate, and no country produces more cobalt. Use the blocks above to step from a company to a metal or across to neighbouring markets.
Each profile carries the company's DRC projects at their current phase, the owners sitting above every asset, the engineers and contractors on brief, and gated details for whoever signs off purchasing. The angle throughout is the vendor selling in, never the miner being sold to.
A tender on the open market has usually been decided already. Spotting a Katanga or Lualaba mine on the move, gauging its progress, and identifying the firm with the design mandate shows you the right moment to act. Layer the named buyers on top and your first contact reaches the person who signs.
They are. Each buyer tied to a project is validated, maintained, and unlocked as soon as you join. Project phases and ownership right across the platform are updated daily.
