Common questions

Online collaboration: common questions

How does my team share projects in AMIQ?

Each person builds a personal list of Projects of Interest and can share it across the team. Colleagues see which projects each person is following, so two people never research the same project twice and your whole team works the same pipeline together.

Can I choose who sees my Projects of Interest?

Yes, you stay in control of sharing. On your own list you allow or disallow which colleagues may view it, so coverage is coordinated across countries and commodities without anyone seeing more than you intend.

What permission levels are there?

Three. The AMIQ Leader is the group administrator who manages the team and controls what is shared on the company account. The Signatory is the person responsible for the account who signs off the subscription. A General user tracks and shares projects without administrator access.

What is My Africa Mining IQ?

It is your team's shared workspace inside the platform. From there you build and share Projects of Interest, make private notes on any project, set reminders, manage your own alerts and message colleagues, all without ever logging out.

Can I manage my own alerts and reminders?

Yes. You self-manage email and SMS alerts on a weekly or monthly schedule for new projects, updated projects and changes to your Projects of Interest. You can also set reminders on individual projects, so the right follow-up lands at the right time and nothing slips.

Can colleagues see who has worked a project before?

They can. The shared view shows active and past users on each project, so you know who in your company has dealt with it and who to talk to. Together your team coordinates across 2,200+ African mining projects from one place.
